Pizza extravagantă de pe Wall Street care costă 2000 de dolari: Trufe franţuzeşti, caviar din Marea Caspică şi frunze din aur comestibil

Customers must order 48 hours in advance. Chef Braulio Bunay who came up with the idea, said: : "I drew my inspiration for the pizza from the financial district, which is right next door to where we're located. “This area attracts people from all over the world, so I wanted to create a dish that celebrates that. “All of the ingredients are sourced from areas abroad that are famous for those specific ingredients.""I chose to transform the usually humble pizza into a luxury dish, because people don't usually see pizza as a high-end item.“ But here at Industry Kitchen, we take pizza very seriously--we even rest our dough for 48 hours. before it hits the oven--and the 24K Pizza really showcases that."The eaterie donates 10% of sales from every 24k Pizza sold to City Harvest which privides food to families struggling to put meals on the table. Toppingul se ridică la înălţimea preţului: brânză albastră Stilton din Anglia, foie gras şi trufe din Franţa, caviar Oscietra din Marea Caspică, frunze din aur comestibil de 24k din Ecuador.

Braulio Bunay, cel care a “copt” ideea ineditului preparat, relatează povestea acestei extravagante pizza: “Inspiraţia a venit din atmosfera districtului financiar new yorkez, aflat chiar lângă uşa noastră. Zona atrage oameni din toată lumea, aşa că am vrut să creez un preparat care să onoreze acest fapt.

Toate ingredientele provin din zone specifice, faimoase pentru aceste produse. Am ales să transform cunoscuta pizza într-un produs de lux, pentru că oamenii nu văd de obicei bogăţia în acest fel de mâncare. Dar aici la Industry Kitchen, luăm pizza foarte în serios, de exemplu, aluatul nostru stă la dospit 48 de ore înainte de a ajunge în cuptor.”

10% din banii proveniţi din vânzarea 24k Pizza merg la City Harvest, centrul care furnizează mâncare nevoiaşilor din New York.

Clienţii trebuie să comande extravaganta pizza cu 48 de ore în avans.
